Areas of responsibility Responsible for all operational HR matters (including recruitment and graduate activity), coaching of the HR team, management of the department budget, management and team coordination of specific HR projects, management of employee relations issues, driving performance management at all levels throughout the firm, including partner development, lead on diversity and equality programmes, management of secondments, responsible for the development of HR policies.
Background experience   Mike is an HR and Training & Development professional with over 15 years' experience within a variety of blue-chip and professional services organisations.    Previous roles have included People Development Manager for Siemens Communications, Programme Director of IFA Professional Development Foundation for Zurich Financial Services and, more recently, Training & Development Manager for Bevan Brittan LLP.  Mike joined Bond Pearce LLP in 2008 as HR Manager.
Main areas of HR interest  His main areas of expertise are in Strategic and Operational HR, and management, leadership and skills development.

Background experience  Spent 18 years working at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte.   Started life as a Chartered Accountant and moved into HR in 1994.  A variety of HR and training roles whilst at both firms.   Last role at Deloitte was  the HR lead for the UK Audit practice
